Customizing Themes and Styles
This guide explains how to change the theme and customize styles for your courses in MAXRES Construct.
Changing the Theme
- Open your course by double-clicking on it.
- From the left-hand side menu, select Theme Picker.
- Choose a Base Theme from the available options.
- Select a Preset to apply predefined styles.
tip
You can save your theme and style selections as a preset for quick access in the future. Use the save button in the sidebar.
Setting Styles for Your Course
Some themes allow for granular element styling. These include options to customize:
- Items (Components)
- Buttons
- Variation States
- Progress
- Navigation
- Notifications
- Drawers
- Miscellaneous
Adjusting Colors
To modify colors:
- Click the dropdown menu under the specific item you want to style.
- Select your desired color.
Undoing Changes
You can undo styling changes using one of the following methods:
- Click the reverse button that appears next to the dropdown menu after making a change.
- Click the Restore to Preset button to reset all changes to the selected preset.
Saving Changes
Options for saving or discarding changes are located in the left-hand side menu:
- Save: Save the current changes to your course.
- Save as Preset: Save the current changes as a new preset for reuse.
- Cancel: Discard changes made during the session.
