Exemplar Workflow for Ultra-Rapid Training Programme Generation
This guide provides a complete walkthrough for using MAXRES Construct to generate a full training program rapidly using structured training input and AI automation.
Overviewβ
MAXRES Construct allows for the transformation of structured training data into fully formed Instructor-Led Training (ILT) content using AI-assisted workflows. This workflow demonstrates how to import a Training Design Document (TDD), generate course structures, apply AI assistants, and review outputs.
Requirementsβ
To complete this workflow, ensure you have the following:
- Access to MAXRES Construct with administrative or course creation permissions
- A pre-formatted Training Design Document (TDD) in CSV format
- Preconfigured Assistant IDs for the Assistant, Instructor Notes, Student Notes, and ILT Image Text fields
Documentationβ
1. Launch MAXRES Constructorβ
- Log into MAXRES Construct.
- Open the Hamburger Menu (β°) and select Administration.
- In the left-hand panel, choose MAXRES Constructor.
2. Import the Training Design Document (TDD)β
- In the MAXRES Constructor view, click the Manage button in the TNA Rows field.
- This will launch the Training Design Manager (TDM).
- Select the Import icon in the top-right corner.
- In the modal that appears, click Choose File and upload your TDD (.csv) file.
- After upload, click Save to populate the table.
3. Save and Exit the TDMβ
- Click the Save icon in the top-right corner of the TDM.
- Click the Power icon to close the TDM and return to the Constructor view.
4. Verify Assistant Metadataβ
Before processing the design:
- Ensure that the following metadata fields are populated correctly:
- Assistant ID
- Instructor Notes
- Student Notes
- ILT Image Text
- Use the Change button next to each field to verify or update the values.
5. Generate the Course Structureβ
- Click the Process Training Design button at the bottom of the Constructor view.
- A modal will appear showing build progress.
- Wait until the process completes and select Close.
Processing time will vary depending on the size of your course, but should typically only take a few minutes.
6. Apply Assistant AI to Generate Contentβ
- Click the Apply Assistant button to begin generating KLP/STE definitions.
- This process may take several hours.
- You may continue working in MAXRES Construct while the process runs in the background.
- Monitor progress using the status indicator on the right:
- Green: Complete
- Black: In progress
- Red: Error (click for details)
Do not edit the course structure using the Course Structure view or TDM during this process. Doing so may disrupt the AI generation workflow.
7. Navigate to the Courseβ
- Use the Hamburger Menu to return to the Dashboard.
- Ensure the view is set to All Courses.
- Open the relevant course for review.
8. Review Generated KLP/STE Definitionsβ
- Double-click the lesson you wish to review.
- Skip the Lesson Meta KLP and select any instructional KLP.
- Click the Training Material tile in the Learning Content Type column.
- Double-click the desired STE to open the Edit Content panel.
- Under the AI Assistant field, click the cloud icon to display the generated content.
Use the Expand button (top-right corner) for a full-screen reading view.
- Review the content:
- If satisfied, click the Tick icon to accept it.
- If revisions are needed, write instructions in the βWhat would you like to ask Assistant?β input field. Begin with βRewrite the above...β and include all changes in one message to optimize AI usage.
- Once satisfied, click the Tick icon and then click Update at the bottom.
9. Finalize and Run Content Generationβ
-
When all STE definitions have been reviewed and accepted:
- Click KLP Queue in the navbar.
- From the KLP Queue Manager, either:
- Click Process on individual rows
- Click Process Remaining KLP Runs to generate all remaining content in batch.
-
This will initiate generation of full content (ILT, Student Manuals, Instructor Guides).
Publishing options are covered in a separate guide. Please refer to Previewing and Publishing Content for next steps in the Courseware Development section of the documentation.
